D7 "status return codes" on pin 3 of the 7-pin connector

The return codes are set up as follows:

start 40msec high, 40ms low

then 8 sets of 30ms, made up of either 10ms low, 20ms high
                                or      20ms high, 10ms low

I will call 20ms low, 10ms high a "1", and 10ms low, 20ms high "0"

the same as the sircs codes

so we get:

pause   start 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0

stop    start 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 

record  start 1 0 1 0 1 0 1 0

play    start 1 0 0 1 1 0 0 1

"sleep"         continuous high, no changes

I have not seen any other codes during my experiments.
